August was filled with fairs, fun, and fantastic volunteers! This month we hosted a tour to Meadow Star Dairy in Minnesota. Riverview Dairy was looking to permit a dairy in Brookings County, and wanted interested citizens to be able to tour a similar dairy site. Forty people joined us for a tour on August 21^st. 

Although we were the hosts to just one event, it was still a busy month.  The Ag United staff spent time volunteering at Sioux Empire Fair, Dakotafest, Turner County Fair, the Shannon Colony Open House, and the South Dakota State Fair. Thank you to all that made this month a success!
