South Dakota is home to many agricultural products. I picked beef.

FACTS

l. 3.72 billion cow's impact to the state's economy.

2. Over 15,000 beef producers live in South Dakota.

1. 3.    We are 8" in the nation with 3.65 million head of cattle. 
2. 4.    We are .1' in the nation with 1.6million beef cows.
3. 5.    There are so many cows in South Dakota that each person can have four.

 

 

SOU1H DAKOTA MADE PRODUCTS THAT WE USE TO MAKE BEEF

At our farm that produces beef we use South Dakota made products such as feed wagons made in Corsica, SD at Farm Aid Manufacturing. We also use feed bunks and box scrapers made at Myerink Farm Service. Also much of our cattle handling equipment was built at Ranchers Welding right here in GREGORY. We feed distillers grain from Loomis, SD to our cattle. Beef production creates a lot of jobs in our state!
