• Norden Cheese Plant receives about 3 million pounds of milk a day, averaging 60 or more truck loads.  If the Plant receives 64 truckloads and 3 million pounds of milk, how many pounds were transported on each load?
  • 3,000,000/64=46,875 pounds
• Once received, this milk is then processed into 300,000 pounds of cheese. How many pounds of milk does it take to produce 1 pound of cheese?
  • 3,000,000/300,000=10
